Original started in 1938 the company was reincorporated with new ownership in 1999 and became the General Agent in United States for Amazon Lines, Ltd. a shipping line offering sailings from the U.S. East Coast to the Brazilian Amazon.In 2000 added to its client lines Trade-wind Lines an intra Caribbean Service connecting with the U.S.A. at the Port of Maim. In 2001 the company expanded its representation and management service activity to include ports working with Grace Kennedy Shipping of Jamaica then operators of Kingston Wharfs until 2005 adding Super Terminais of Manaus and later Port of Manaus.
United Agency today remains a licensed shipping agent and continues to provide management service to shipping lines operating services in Caribbean and South America as well as Port of Manaus and Macapa. United Agency core business activity is providing management services as well as representing global logistics companies as agent or partner in U.S.A. Working in partnerships with its clients to secure the best and most efficient transportation solutions to and from North America.
